  "MERCURY RISING" OUT IN JANUARY
After All signed a three album deal with Mausoleum Records, home of such bands as Swarm, Spirit Web, Wicked Mystic, Ostrogoth and Crossfire. The worldwide release of After All's 4th full length album "Mercury Rising" is scheduled for early January.

"Mercury Rising" contains eleven new After All tracks, an ultra-heavy version of the La Muerte classic "Black God White Devil" and two video clips. The new album was recorded by Harris Johns (Voivod, Helloween, Kreator) at the Spiderhouse Studio in Berlin, earlier this year. To top it off, the album comes with awesome sci-fi artwork by Kris Verwimp, best known for his Marduk, Absu and Skullview designs. After the more experimental approach of the "Dead Loss" album, After All return in true form. Paying tribute to their 80s metal roots with tracks such as "Beneath The Flesh" and "The Shadow Wall", "Mercury Rising" is by far After All's heaviest outing to date.

EXCLUSIVE AFTER ALL SONG ON COMPILATION
Urgence Disk Records (Geneva, Switzerland) will include an exclusive After All track on a compilation album, due for release later this year. The featured track is the first part of "El Sendero del Diablo". The whole song - recorded last March - actually consists of three parts. "El Sendero del Diablo" will not be included on After All's upcoming new CD, but the complete version of the song probably will pop up somehow in the near future. The as yet untitled Urgence Disk compilation album is to be released in October and will be available on 10 inch vinyl only.

AFTER ALL - THE NEW ALBUM
As you probably will know by now, last March-April After All recorded an album's worth of new songs with producer Harris Johns (Voivod, Sodom, Helloween, Sepultura,...) at the Spiderhouse Studio in Berlin. Check last month's news on this very page for details. As soon as there is more news about the release date of the album, you'll be the first to know...

  NEW AFTER ALL ALBUM COMPLETED
After All are back from the Spiderhouse Studio in Berlin where they completed their fourth full-length album with producer Harris Johns, known for his work with Voivod, Helloween, Kreator, Sepultura, Sodom, Therion and other great metal bands. Both the band and Harris are very pleased with the outcome: the new album contains twelve tracks and is by far After All's heaviest and most 'metal' effort to date. After All hope to inform you about the release date of the album in one of the next newsletters.

  AFTER ALL PREPARE THREE VIDEOS
After All have been shooting videos for the new songs "Beneath The Flesh" and "For Us Immortals" at the Narafi Studios in Brussels, Belgium with director Gideon Van Essen, showing the band in a live-in-the-studio setting. The final versions of the videos will include footage that was shot on the road, during After All's "Metal Grand Slam Tour" of last year.

A third video - for the song "Descending Pain" - will be shot on location later this spring with director Michel Maréchal. Once they're finished, samples from all three videos will be available at our YouTube channel.

AFTER ALL RECORD NEW ALBUM WITH HARRIS JOHNS
Until the end of the month, After All will be at the Spiderhouse Studio in Berlin, Germany for the mix down of the upcoming full-length album. In the past weeks, After All recorded 12 new tracks at the Spiderhouse Studio (Berlin, Germany), Studio Ph. (Berlin, Germany) and the Hype Studio (Aalst, Belgium). Producer of the fourth After All album is Harris Johns, internationally known for his work with such bands as Voivod, Sepultura, Kreator, Helloween, Therion, Celtic Frost and Saint Vitus. The new After All material takes the direction of the "Armageddon Come" and "The Bereaved" EPs to the next level: think awesome heaviness with lots of 80s metal influences. After All plan to release the new album on CD and LP before the end of the year.

AFTER ALL RECORDS TWO MORE TRACKS
Early March, After All were invited to record two songs at the Trax Audio Recording Studio in Gent, Belgium with engineer Ruben Rosseel. The songs are "El Sendero Del Diablo", an experimental metal soundscape, and "In The Grip Of Evil", originally written and recorded by Belgium's ultimate thrashers Cyclone in 1986. Both songs will not appear on the new After All album, but don't worry, they'll pop up somehow in the near future.

"ARMAGEDDON COME" REVIEWED ON METAL TREASURES
The new After All EP got an excellent review on Metal Treasures, the number one website for metal collectors: "Mit der aktuellen Split 12" von AFTER ALL und DOUBLE DIAMOND, (beweisen die Bands) das der Metal Underground in Belgien zum Angriff auf die übermächtige Italienische/Schwedische True Metal Welle bläst. Read the full on the Metal Treasures website.
