  TOUR POSTPONED
Last month we announced on this very page that After All would form a tour package with Obsidian and The Old Dead Tree. Unfortunately, Obsidian withdrew from the package due to line-up problems. As they organise the tour, all dates got postponed until early next year. As soon as we have more info about this tour, we will post it here.

  PICTURES EUROROCK 2000 ONLINE
Never say never... Finally we can present some nice pictures of the show at the Eurorock 2000 Festival, where After All shared the bill with Tiamat, Therion, Tristania and The Sins Of Thy Beloved. Thank you Inge Van den Heuvel for these nice shots! Check 'em out here.

The opening show of the tour is on Sunday August 12th, at The Spirit of 66 in Verviers (B).   AFTER ALL IS NOW A REGISTERED TRADEMARK
After All successfully registered their band name as a protected trademark. The Belgian five piece were urged to register their band name, as a Dutch progressive rock band appeared to be on the brink of releasing their debut album under the After All monicker. Once the registration of the trademark was made public, the Dutch band announced to put the release of their album on hold until after the summer, when it will be released under a different band name. After All is happy with the Dutch band's decision because further planned legal actions are now no longer necessary.

  NEW CONCERT DATES AND TOUR
After All will perform at the Rock Le Cocq Festival in De Haan (B) on July 14th. The band will be on at 8.30 PM.

After All is scheduled to perform at The Spirit of 66 in Verviers (B) on August 12th. Support-acts will include Brussels based Obsidian.

After the successful Metal Grand Slam Tour 2001 - which took After All through Holland and Belgium for 25 shows - plans are in the making of sending After All on tour again, this time concentrating on France, with additional shows in the UK, Germany, Belgium, Holland and the Czech Republic. At this point, there are options taken by venues in Paris (F), Strasbourg (F), Amiens (F), Lille (F) and Camden (UK). The tour is said to start by mid September, but no dates have been officially confirmed yet. Check back regularly to the dates section for update

AFTER ALL BACK FROM METAL GRAND SLAM TOUR
After All just got back from the Metal Grand Slam Tour 2001: six weeks of fun, madness and metal with our tour buddies from Wicked Mystic, Mac-11 and Non-Divine in the Dutch and Belgian club scene. (Not to mention the great warm-up show with Double Diamond and the final show of the tour with Paradise Lost.) Thank you guys for the great time! And of course, After All's eternal gratitude goes out to Ruud at Hitman Agency (for putting us on the road) and to all clubs (for making us feel welcome). Check the pictures page for some on-stage and off-stage tour snapshots.

We're planning some more Dutch shows later this year, as well as some dates in France, so check out the dates page regularly.

There are still a couple of After All tour shirts available in navy blue (size L only) and army green (size XL only). All other sizes and colours are sold out. Front print: After All logo in dark red and silver. Back print: dates and venues of the Metal Grand Slam Tour in silver. For prices and postage rates, please drop us a note.

At long last - and by popular demand - we put an MP3 version of "Erase Your Past" (from the "Dead Loss" album) on line. Please check the releases section of this site and start downloading... More full songs and sound clips in MP3 format are to follow, so please check this page once in a while.

Still no sign of "The Bereaved EP". This sucks, we know… Please be patient and check back regularly, we'll keep you informed.

AARDSCHOK MAGAZINE PRESENTS AFTER ALL ON TOUR!
The leading Dutch metal magazine is the official sponsor of "The Metal Grand Slam 2001". For this package After All teams up with three Dutch metal bands: Rokarola labelmates Wicked Mystic, Mac-11 and Non-Divine. A press showcase will be held on January 27th, in Plato-Helmond (near Eindhoven). Aardschok readers can attend for free with the coupon from the January 2001 issue. Two months after the Helmond showcase the tour kicks off for real and covers almost thirty of Holland's and Belgium's finest clubs (including Paradiso Amsterdam, Baroeg Rotterdam, 013 Tilburg and Podium Hardenberg) between March 29th and May 6th. Check the dates page for more details on when and where.

Swedish label Near Dark Productions has confirmed to release "The Bereaved EP" on March 1st 2001. The release of the EP -originally planned for the summer of 2000- has been put on hold for several months, due to an internal reorganisation at Near Dark. However, the new release date fits perfectly with the upcoming tour. "The Bereaved EP" contains two non-album tracks, put onto tape during a session prior to the recording of "Dead Loss". The EP will be available in a limited edition on blue vinyl only. The style of the songs? Think of NWOBHM, 70's doom rock and psychedelica… at the same time. More info in the releases section.

And of course: a heavy 2001 to you, too!
