		15 years ago 'A Trip To The Stonehenge Colony' got released. DelRockfest IV will be the first where we celebrate that very album by playing it front to back. 		On saturday october 11th Cowboys & Aliens will open the Desertfest mainstage at Trix Antwerp. 		First of all: Kris is back home to continue his recovery. He expresses his gratitude for the love and attention he experienced the last few weeks. And we're happy to confirm our appearance with C&A on the kickass Kneistival line up together with Diablo Blvd on july 22th.

	28 march 2014 : More upcoming gigs in Germany!
		Besides the ultracool Rock Im Wald festival along with Graveyard, Red Fang, Truckfighters, Black Spiders and many more, Cowboys & Aliens will be playing a couple of more gigs in Germany upcoming July. 	22 march 2014 : News on Kris ...
	Kris is making good progress. I visited him yesterday and he certainly didn't lose his sense of humour. The operation was successful but obviously he still suffers pain. He will be coming home somewhere next week to start the real recovery. He sends you all his love. Henk V.

	18 march 2014 : And now for some serious stuff
		Two months ago our dedicated, highly energetic and faithful friend & bass player Kris was diagnosed with cancer. We are extremely relieved to say that without unexpected complications, Kris will heal from that evil. Still, his band mates & numerous friends, are worried sick. Very soon, Kris will undergo surgery but he is determined to be back on stage as soon as possible because Cowboys & Aliens is an extremely important part of his life. He will need lots of rest though, so I will be communicating about his recovery on this page and on Facebook. It is Kris’ wish the news about his illness would be in the open. Peace -Henk V-

	09 february 2014 : Down tuned gig for C&A?
		From our friends @ DelRockFest.be : 04/02 : Sadly, we got the message today that Autumn Child is calling it a day, so the band is not playing @ De Schouw on the 30th of May. We're working hard on a suitable replacement. 05/02 : Do we have a surprise for you. Brugge's finest Cowboys & Aliens, are stepping in! Not as their usual selves, but in a stripped-down version. A one-time only opportunity to see the band at its most vulnerable. So it seems as we're doing that long promised and long awaited semi-acoustic thing after all!

	30 january 2014 : C&A Side project.
		Check out Agent Copper, an instrumental side project from Cowboys & Aliens drummer Peter Gaelens. Frantic riffs and thunder all over the place! Upcoming March 15th 2014 Agent Copper will hit the stage for the very first time in support of Dutch Sludgers Komatsu @ Café Het Visoen, Katelijnestraat 160 at their hometown Bruges.

	27 january 2014 : Fifty years of Rock & Pop in Bruges.
		Don't just judge a book by its cover ... but this one's a bit different. BRUPOP! written by music journalist Antoine De Clerck covers about half a century of Rock- and Pop history in our home town Bruges / Belgium and guess who features on the cover? Right, C&A does! Featuring quite a few pages of very interesting and exciting stuff on the history of Cowboys & Aliens. This is definitely something we are very proud of!

	19 january 2014 : New CD available in the Benelux!

It was NOT easy for us in a hardcore stoner setting, but we pulled it off. Enjoyed some nice bands as well : Coogan's Bluff, Monkey3, My Sleeping Karma ... Rocking! 	03 september 2013 : An ironic approach ...
	"Surrounded by Enemies" is a very ironic approach of nowaday life which creates an image of enemies all over the globe due to religious fundamentalism; And we -little humans- are more concerned about earthly nonsense and obsolete fait-dhivers like going to the moon, to Mars and even more ridiculously bying fancy clothes. It's a perverse dualism and i had to write a song about that. More lyric explanations soon to come, exclusively for you. HENK V.

	01 september 2013 : Snippets!
	As we are waiting for mastering wizard Uwe Teichert to take proper care of our latest offspring, a dedicated member of the Cowboys & Aliens family wasted many hours to make a small video for y'all to marvel at. Including snippets of ALL tracks of the forthcoming EP 'Surrounded By Enemies'! Needless to say we hope you will enjoy this and share the shit out of it with as many rock aficionados as possible. 	14 july 2013 : C&A delivering new grooves in 2013!
		Low & behold ... as we speak Cowboys & Aliens are @ The Hearse Studio's recording a brandnew 6 song EP entitled "Surrounded By Enemies"! Tracklist as follows : Surrounded By Enemies / It's Not The Booze / Larger Than Life / So Long, My Friend / Goldrush and Different Angle. Drums & bass are done. Hard working guitarist John P. just finished recording his killer riffs and solo's. Next on are lead and backing vocals, which will be led by ex C&A member and professional musician Peter Iterbeke. Mixing and mastering will be done by "Customs" drummer Ace Zec @ Oceanside Recording Studio. We're getting closer to the end of the recording sessions of the first "real" new work the 4 of us did since 2003. We're very excited about it and can't wait to share the goods. More soon.

	16 october 2012 : A busy November!
		Cowboys & Aliens are gettin' ready for a very busy November month. We hope to surprise you all with a "slightly" changed set list and we're working on some shit to kick more ass in 2013. On friday November 2nd C&A are doing an intimate try-out gig for the Delirium RockFest MKII @ café Het 13de Gebod, Lichtervelde / Belgium. On saturday November 10th we're headliing the FuzzFest at Ledegem / Belgium alongside some fine, new local stoner talent such as Your Highness / Grown Below / True Champions Ride On Speed and Cat Clauw, and on saturday November 17th we're co-headlining the 2nd Delirium RockFest @ Lichtervelde on the mainstage. Another gig during the same month is still in the works. In the meantime, stay tuned and rock out!

	04 august 2012 : Back to Germany!
		On friday September 14th 2012 Cowboys & Aliens returns to Germany in order to howl some fuckin' ass at the "Bleeding Roses Tattooparty" @ Mittel Gründau together with fine folks such as Sodom / Sapiency / Cripper / Desperadoz / Ghosts Of Gaia / Make My Day / Stonehead ... a fine sellection of international tattoo artists and more. Well that should be something aint it? Got little red socks, blue suede shoes, V8 car and tattoos, I'm a rocker, I'm a roller, I'm a riot out of controller. I'm a wheeler, I'm a dealer, I'm a wicked woman steeler. I'm a bruiser, I'm a cruiser, I'm a rockin' rollin' man!

	18 june 2012 : Moving Target ...
		As you might know C&A were set to be playing a very rare acoustic set @ the annual Delirium Rockfest upcoming november 17th. Well guess what, we moved on to the mainstage where we will unleash the Jekeyll and Hyde within' ourselves! Starting with a couple of modest unplugged songs immediately followed by a full blown whirlwind of a co-headlining set, opening for the mighty Warrior Soul! A complete downtuned gig as a warmup for this event is in the works for early november somewhere close to Lichterbeke Rock City ... stay tuned!

	06 june 2013 : Various ramblings ...
		C&A are partial to the Olympic thought, to participate is more important than to win. It came to our attention that we are participating in the GMM Talent Quest, great! Only, we played Graspop twice already, a 3rd time would be awesome but we would like to pass the honour to the other participants. Vote for the other bands, they deserve it! Thanks for supporting our band and the Belgian scene in general! And on september 14th we will be playing the Hoffest festival, near Frankfurt. organised by Tattoo Bleeding Rose. 	19 may 2012 : Gigs added!
		While working hard on new songs for the next album we added a couple of gigs to the schedule. On June 30th we're on the bill of the Dijlefeesten @ Mechelen / Belgium and on saturday November 17th for the first time ever Cowboys & Aliens goes acoustic with the likes of Warrior Soul and many more @ the übercool Delirium Rock Fest. 	02 february 2012 : "Sandpaper Blues Knockout" digipack out now :
		You might have noticed lately we are bombing online musicstores with new tunes but today the actual digipack's arrived! Dice Industries takes care of shipping to the stores so check your local recordstore. By local, we mean Belgium. For the rest of the world, the digipack will be available at every gig and we can send it straight to your house as well. Hook us up and we'll take care of it. 	14 january 2012 : Well, here's an update on the upcoming "Sandpaper Blues Knock Out" EP release on Dice Industries!
		The new 4-song EP will be released worldwide by Dice Industries on January 28th 2012. It has been mixed and mastered by Kris Belaen at CCR and John. P. at Bear Cave Studio's. All songs have been produced by C&A guitarist John Pollentier. Physical CD's will be available at all Metalzone and Billboard recordstores in Belgium. 	24 september 2011 : The release of the new EP "Sandpaper Blues K.O" might be postponed for a few months but no worries, we're looking at various options as we speak. In the meantime we received word that Plu-Fest @ Nijmegen / TheNetherlands is cancelled due to license issues. The whole thing will be rescheduled and should happen somewhere around March 2012. Of course Cowboys & Aliens will be honored to be on the bill again. What's more ... 	COWBOYS & ALIENS - ROCK IS A MANY SPLENDORED THING: "SANDPAPER BLUES KNOCK OUT" 2011

	4 years after the final blast of guitars & drums died out the four original members found each other once again in a back alley, at a time when only stray dogs & drunks rule the streets. Naturally the boys felt right at home and decided to have some be...ers and laughs; at a bar no-one would care to remember. The four decided that the world was in desperate need of some more heavy riffing' and promptly forgot why they stopped playing together.

	It all happened in the firm tradition of a spaghetti western anyway so the band thought Sergio Leone wouldn't be that pissed off to welcome back the Belgian stoner pioneers on stage.The good man would even be delighted with the idea of a new EP haunting the world as a long-haired split-eyed tattooed ghost.

	Cowboys & Aliens were something of an item between 1999 and 2007. Dour Festival, Graspop, support gigs for Monster Magnet, Soulfly, Danzig, Queens Of The Stone Age, Deep Purple in various top class venues in the Benelux and headlining tours in Germany, Switzerland alongside razzle-dazzle experiences with Holland's finest in the likes of Peter Pan Speedrock, Astrosoniq and Candybar Planet were no exception at that time. This, however, is history. The kind of history one should treasure. The future has begun as we speak. "Sandpaper Blues Knock Out", the new EP to be released this year is going to set Cowboys & Aliens right where they bloody well belong: on stage, blasting the volume harder than ever before.
